I Forgot to Show You the Tulips

Things came up
and
I forgot to show you
those pictures
of the tulips growing
purple red white and yellow
into the horizon forever.

It seems useless now.

If I look hard enough
I think I can see you there
on the other side
of the fields
rows upon rows
hundred thousand million
blooming tulips
between us.
